Sharon Mcclurg

I've been fascinated with drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.

I studied at Toronto School of Art and Ontario College of Art and Design, as well at the Other School of Art in the 70s.

I like to work in acrylic and oil on canvas, and recently discovered water soluble oils. Still love the simplicity and meditative act of drawing with pencil and conte on paper, too.

Everywhere I look I find sources of inspiration. Every morning I walk in the ravine and the Meadowlands early in the morning, so I can see the sun rise. Also our trip to Crete pre-pandemic was a trip to the land of the honey coloured sunshine and olive trees everywhere! Life is beautiful!
